* WCWB Lecture Series

On February 28, 2011 at 7 PM at the Montgomery County NRCS Building in Derwood, MD (click for map), please join us for the first offering of the WCWB Lecture Series. This educational lecture series is open to everyone, from landowners, to community members, to farmers, to wildlife and conservation professionals, and hunters alike.

The WCWB Lecture Series is an introduction into QDMA and the benefits it will provide those within WCWB’s reach, as well as an in depth look into the methods of QDM and how it can be practically applied in the WCWB area.

This lecture will cover many topics, with a focus on establishing QDM Cooperatives between neighboring landowners and farmers to accomplish a deer management objective.

Please check back regularly for more information on this and other installments of the WCWB Lecture Series.

* 2011 QDMA National Convention

Every now and then an opportunity comes along that’s simply too good to pass. That’s exactly what happened regarding the 2011 QDMA National Convention.

As an extension of QDMA’s existing partnership with Gaylord Entertainment, we have joined forces to host our National Convention in conjunction with the inaugural Land & Wildlife Expo, August 11-14, 2011, in Nashville, Tennessee!

Without question, this is one of those true win-win situations where the sum is greater than the individual parts. This is still QDMA’s National Convention, but it will be combined with a unique and perfectly focused event that will allow QDMA members to experience the largest, most enjoyable and most informative conference of its kind ever held in North America.
